Why Updates Matter

Step 1: Back Up Your Config File
This is the single most important step. Before you update, copy your current GCam config XML file from Internal Storage, GCam, Configs to a safe folder like Downloads.
Without this backup, you might lose your dialed-in settings if the new build wipes the folder.
Step 2: Download the Latest GCam Build
Grab the latest version from our GCam APK download page. We update the page weekly with verified builds from BSG, Hasli, and BigKaka. The page is sorted by phone brand for easy picking.

Step 3: Install Over the Existing Build
